Q: What are chelated minerals?
A: MIXABLES uses minerals that have been chelated or "attached" to amino acids. Chelated minerals are more readily absorbed by the canine digestive tract compared with their non-chelated counterparts. The chelation process is expensive and is not required by AAFCO (the American Association of Feed Control Officials); however, Variety Pet Foods has selected them because of their superior nutritional benefits.

Q: Will I need to adjust the amount of dry food fed to my dog?
A: Just like people, dogs have differing nutritional requirements depending upon age, general health condition and activity level.
