Fort Morgan Humane Society – Don't shop…adopt!

During the Christmas season, there seems to be a larger awareness of those in need–those without food or shelter or loved ones to enjoy during the holidays. This awareness extends to our four-legged friends too. The reality is, there are humans working tirelessly throughout the whole year to care for animals across the country, and the Variety Pack wants to bring these shelters and adoption agencies to light wherever they are, whatever time of year it is. Their cause is noble and they save countless lives!

One such place is the Fort Morgan Humane Society, which works out of the Denver Metro and eastern Colorado region.

Alongside their spaying/neutering/vaccination services, Fort Morgan Humane Society also runs an extensive foster care and adoption program, helping dogs and cats alike recover from homelessness, illness, abuse, and over-crowded conditions. They are:

Dedicated to provide compassionate care to all animals and to enhance good relationships between animals and people through adoptions, education, and community service outreach.

If you’d like to be part of Fort Morgan Humane Society’s community, there are plenty of ways to get involved, including joining their foster care program, volunteering time at the shelter, donating, and–of course–adopting! Check out their website and Facebook page for more information.

Remember, we’re all in this together!

Do you have a local shelter that deserves some recognition for all they’ve done? Have you ever adopted from a shelter or foster care program? Tell us your story!
